Who We Are
Blue Seagull Review is a passion project disguised as an online short fiction literary magazine. We publish ‘dream fiction’ — imaginative short stories that read as if straight from a dream.
We hope you enjoy the various sky pictures! All of them were taken by Alina M. Sidorova, founding editor and sole staff member.
The origin of the name ‘Blue Seagull’ has nothing to do with seagulls. ‘Blue Seagull’ — or, in Russian, ‘Синяя чайка’ — is the name of a lost spaceship from the 1981 Soviet The Mystery of the Third Planet, one of Alina’s favorite childhood movies.
